Special Event: Updates to Massachusetts Arbitration and Related Laws

For the second part of the BIAC’s Legislative Committee’s discussion on key topics for proposed arbitration legislation in Massachusetts, members of the committee will review a pending bill to replace the Uniform Arbitration Act in Massachusetts with the Revised Uniform Arbitration Act (RUAA). This will include the areas addressed by the bill and those not yet included, such as third party funding.

The discussion will be an interactive overview from members of the greater Boston community on what additional topics should be considered for inclusion for proposed arbitration legislation to make Massachusetts a more attractive seat and also provide a comparative review of other new arbitration statutes and key provisions from those laws.
